Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Supervisor
Pruitt Tool & Supply Co. is currently seeking candidates for MPD Supervisor positions.
We are seeking individuals to oversee the operation of equipment including RCD’s, MPD choke manifolds, and actuated and manual isolation valves. A key element of this position is the ability to train subordinates and facilitate a cohesive work group. Candidate will also be expected to develop the ability to use Hydraulics Modeling software to run scenarios to establish the MPD well operating envelope.
Qualified individuals will be viewed as leaders in behavioral well-site safety and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in oilfield operations and a minimum of 1 year experience working in a hands-on MPD position. Candidates with Level 3 and 4 Well Control are encouraged to apply. Incumbents must have excellent organizational skills; strong computer skills; a mechanical aptitude; and an understanding of pneumatic and/or electrical systems. Travel is a job requirement and individuals hired will work 12 hour shifts for up to 4 – 5 weeks at a time on a rotational basis. Successful candidates will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent communication abilities; and an aptitude for troubleshooting problems using logic and critical thinking.
