Rotating Control Device (RCD)
The Pruitt Rotating Control Device 1509 (PRCD 1509) is a variation of the PRCD 2000 passive Rotating Control Device (RCD) which gives the operator several advantages during Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Under Balanced Drilling (UBD) Operations.
The PRCD 1509 is a single element, drill through bearing assembly. This model has been designed with a 9-1/32” inch, drill through bore to allow for larger drill pipe as well as smaller casing or other drill string components.

PRCD 1509
The PRCD 1509 comes equipped with the Recirculating Power Unit and Clamp Operating Stand. The Recirculating Power Unit is designed to circulate, cool, and filter the lubricating oil used in the closed-loop lubricating system. This added feature ensures longer life and durability of the bearing assembly.
The Pruitt High Pressure systems can be used with all Pruitt RCDs. When the time comes to transition from low to high pressure drilling, the process can be as simple as an RCD change, saving hours of rig up time.
