Pruitt is currently seeking candidates to fill a newly created Director of Sales position.
We are an API Q1 Quality Management Certified company and we manufacture/refurbish specialized drilling equipment used in the oil and gas industry. In addition to our headquarters in Fort Smith, AR, we have other facilities throughout the United States and are expanding into the international marketplace.
We are seeking candidates to oversee the sales function of the organization. Incumbent will work in a direct sales role while simultaneously providing strategic sales leadership for all sales personnel. Responsibilities for this position include tender preparation and preparation of pricing proposal documents; serving as a liaison between sales and operations; growing customer base both domestically and eventually internationally; holding sales team meetings(virtually and/or in person); developing a cohesive marketing strategy; oversight of an internal sales information system; etc.
Job requirements include 5 years’ experience in direct sales; 3 years’ experience selling Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Services; 3 years’ experience leading sales teams; previous experience dealing with major industry players and a willingness to travel routinely. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of sales success; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a cohesive team. Candidate selected must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
