PRCD 2000

Rotating Control Device (RCD)

The Pruitt Rotating Control Device 2000 (PRCD 2000) is an intermediate pressure Rotating Control Device (RCD).

The design incorporates a single element, drill through bearing assembly which forms a passive (wellbore assisted) seal around the drill pipe. This model also addresses height restriction issues beneath the rig floor while providing required pressure ratings. The PRCD 2000 is designed to work with all variations of Managed Pressure Drilling and Under Balanced Drilling Operations.

Features

PRCD 2000

The PRCD 2000 comes equipped with the Pruitt Automated Power Unit and Clamp Operating Stand. The Automated Power Unit is designed as a positive pressure system that ensures all fluids and contaminants remain within the wellbore. Positive lubrication is also provided to prolong seal life and provide temperature control for the internal components of the RCD.

The Pruitt High Pressure systems can be used with all Pruitt RCDs. When the time comes to transition from low to high pressure drilling, the process can be as simple as a RCD change, saving hours of rig up-time.
